Klaxons all the Rave
If you were lucky enough to be at Lee's Palace this past Sunday April 8th, you would have seen the latest movement out of the UK. Though the Klaxons may be new to North America they have been selling out concerts since late 2006 in Europe, Japan and Australia - its no surprise. Voted best new band for 2007 at the NME shockwave awards, (http://www.nme.com/awards/news/26762) the Klaxons seem fit to administer a searing jolt of energy to the music scene, extending the stage for a new fusion of rock, electro pop, dance-punk, rave, and psychedelic...I suppose? Either way, whatever it is, its fucking exciting! The band is currently making its American invasion, moving through the U.S, and finishing up on the shores of California at the Coachella music festival. Get out and see them!

Bonde Do Role, a Brazilian trio thats signed to Diplo's label Mad Decent. This funk carioca group is the life of the party (the one with the lazers, and that slut big foot). their mash-up style and hip-hop sound combined with sex dripping performances can't keep you still for a momment. Drink a couple hundred beers, put on whatever the fuck you want, stay out till 6 am and dance with everyone in sight.
